The Midge Thread 75 denier is a semi-texturized tying thread with bright colors, suitable for tying very thin and smooth bodies, making it also excellent as a base for wrapping quills and biots in smaller patterns. It allows to tye full bodies of medium/small sized flies without changing the tying thread for the final knots. It is less invasive and bulky compared to other tying threads and flosses.
It is also perfect as a smooth base for wrapping natural and synthetic quills and biots.
Ideal for chironomids, it is also well-suited for nymphs, perdigons, wet and dry flies ranging from size 16 to 22.
