These are one of my go-to patterns year around. I use them as attractors in the winter and anytime there is a caddis hatch; as a pupating caddis or a dead caddis tumbling in the current. Smaller sizes are Mayfly nymphs.
Tied on a Firehole hook with a tungsten bead.
